Our Community Work Days are a great way to see the farm, help with a task and get to talk with the farmers.

Please note that we are a working farm and not available for visits without an appointment.

Please check our Instagram for upcoming Community Work Day info and registration.

For your visit:

Where: We are located in Chester, NY in the beautiful black dirt of Orange County. The farm is about 50 miles from the George Washington Bridge in NYC, located near Route 17 (I-86), I-84, and I-87.

What to bring: A reusable water bottle, a bag lunch, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes that you don't mind getting very, very, dirty. In case of rain, please also bring rain gear.

IMPORTANT NOTES: We have dogs (friendly!) and cats around the farm - be aware for any allergies.

Farm days are canceled in cases of extreme weather (i.e. thunderstorms, tornadoes, hurricanes). We're always watching the weather and will keep everyone updated as to cancellations due to weather. We will do our best to reschedule private tours, classes, and events as quickly as possible.

Can't make it this time?  Don't stress! Sign up here to receive an email notice about upcoming volunteer days.
