Come walk the farm with specific attention to our ‘community cultivators’, those volunteer plants on the farm that we call ‘weeds’. What’s in a name? How can we re-frame and still take care of what we need to take care of? Enjoy tea from some of the plants that grow without asking (volunteers) and those we ask to grow (crops).

Tea time is slowing down, observing, sitting with each other and building community. As your tea steeps, learn about the farm - our history and the history of the land we steward, how social justice is in our roots, our move from urban to rural farming, working as a team and together with our partners to create a more vibrant and resilient community. Learn about each other and share stories that being on the farm inspires.

This activity is great for folks who want to get out of the office and see the farm while staying relatively clean.

Time: 2.5 to 3 hours
