We are a QT+BIPOC centered farm rooted in social justice. Located in Lenape territory in the heart of Orange County, New York, our focus is on providing greater food access to those most in need, and educating people about food, farming and the food system. We wouldn’t exist without our community, and we offer numerous ways for you to connect with us and support our work.
In celebration of ten years of farming, we’ve launched our 10 Year Anniversary Campaign, to raise $100k to:
Sustain our food access work to bring produce to communities in New York City and Orange County
Support our full transition to a formal worker-owned cooperative
Grow our educational programming for aspiring QT+BIPOC farmers and young people, and
Create more supports for farmer mental health and wellness
Please join our village and support our work in any way you can. You can make donations directly to the farm here.

“We are so excited to partner with Rise & Root for another year!! We still have community members asking when the vegetables will be back, they truly enjoyed the variety and freshness of everything!”
